About Sherin Swift

Sherin is a writer, speaker, pastor and consultant whose voice is shaped by her journey from atheism and trauma to faith and ministry. Discipled in the Black Church tradition, she worked as an accountant while earning her Masters in Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary and becoming ordained by the Evangelical Covenant Church. She now serves as Pastor of Connections and Equipping at New Life Fellowship in Queens, NYC.

Sherin writes from a place of honest, open reflection on life from her point of view as an Indian American woman navigating topics like faith, trauma/abuse, parenting, calling, leadership, identity and justice in the US. She is a non-toxic optimist, well acquainted with tragedy and hopelessness.
